Christmas brings out the little girl excitement in me
Would you believe I still write to Santa in all my glee
Dear Santa can I get a new doll for Christmas please
A Barbie who talks walks and bends her hands and knees.
But shhh don't tell anyone about this
I'm twenty-five years old, my name is Trish
I attend University studying child psychology
In this class we learn kids behave extra well to get their xmas toys and candy.
Santa is for real I know, I've seen him all the time
When the others are asleep I am up to hear the midnight chime
He comes down the chimney chubby in his red suit
To put barbie under the tree he's really a "sneaky brut."
I came out for Santa to see me, and he jumped when I said hello
He hugged me and I pulled his snowy white beard he said "ouch" ho ho ho.
